Stephen’s goal has always been to develop a dancing school that becomes home to each and every dancer in addition to bringing them to a level of success they never believed possible by building character, confidence and the ability to fulfill dreams through hard work and perseverance. ![]() Stephen achieving his adjudicating exam has been an incredible asset to the Scariff School, in helping him see his dancers through the eyes of an adjudicator. Passing the Adjudicating exam with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha has been one of Stephen's greatest achievements in addition to being one of most important. ![]() He has received invitations to judge 5 different World Qualifying events around the World in addition to The North American Irish Dancing Championships. In 2012 Stephen certified as an Adjudicator and enjoys judging Irish Dancing competitions Worldwide. The school has also trained and helped develop dancers who are currently touring the World as stars in The Lord of the Dance in leading roles along with many other dancers who have performed with the show as chorus line dancers. The school is phenomenally successful, with dancers winning in both solo and team categories at Regional level and also enjoys success on an international level by training dancers who have placed top five at the North American, All Ireland, All Scotland, Great Britain and World Championships. He established the Scariff school of Irish Dance which now offers classes in North Salt Lake City, Sandy and Logan in the state of Utah. In 2007 Stephen relocated to the U.S, and became accredited through the Worlds largest Irish Dance organization An Comisiun le Rinci Gaelacha. In 2003, he established his own dancing schools in, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland and trained hundreds of dancers to become Champions. Invasion broke many box office records and enjoyed huge success touring mainland Europe. In 2002, Stephen retired from Lord of the Dance to choreograph, produce and star in his own show, Irish Dance Invasion. At just 15 years of age Stephen was the youngest dancer ever hired by the show where he went on to perform the principal role of the ‘Good Lord’ for 4 years. ![]() In 1998, Stephen was approached to dance in the internationally famous dance show, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance. During this period, he secured many Championship titles, winning multiple regional titles and placing in the top 3 at the All Ireland and World Championships.
